A FM transmitter is a compact, lightweight and portable device that lets you share music with others at any place. It comes with a 2.5mm/3.5mm headphone plug or a proprietary plug for connecting with your cell phone or portable audio device.
By plugging it into the jack, the sound will be transmitted to played through any FM radio, including car stereo, home radio and portable radio. It supports international FM frequency ranges and allows transmission of music as far as 10 meters. Some of the FM transmitters also sport with a female charging port for you to charge while in use.
How to use:
1. Turn on the FM transmitter and tune it to an unused frequency by pressing the up and down buttons. You can see the frequency on the display.
2. Connect the transmitter to an audio source (cell phone or portable audio device).
3. Turn on your radio and set the frequency the same as the transmitter.
4. Play and share your music!
Note:
Some cell phones may not have a standard 3.5mm jack but a proprietary port of their own brand. Therefore, just like buying other cell phone accessories, you are strongly recommended to check the model number of your handset in advance in order to choose the right transmitter.
