
Available in two color schemes (black/silver and purple/charcoal), the Strive has a vertical sliding form factor, measuring 4.17" high by 2.14" wide by 0.58" deep and weighing 3.99 ounces. It has a 2.6-inch display with 262,000 colors and a 320x240-pixel resolution, plus a QWERTY keyboard hidden underneath. There is also a dedicated button for the messaging box.
For easy conversational reading, text messages will be displayed in threaded style. You can reply up to ten friends at the same time. As expected, the Strive comes with multimedia and instant messaging as well. And with Mobile Email, you can have personal email access for AOL, Gmail, Windows Live Mail, Yahoo Mail and more.
To connect with your buddies via social networking sites, you can use AT&T’s Social Net application. Besides, AT&T Mobile Share lets you upload photos and videos, store them in your online "Locker", and post them on Facebook, MySpace, Photobucket and so on. The carrier provides 250MB of online storage for free.
With support for AT&T’s 3G network, the Strive also offers services such as AT&T Navigator for turn-by-turn directions, Mobile Video for streaming video content, Mobile Music for song downloads, MusicID for song identification and AllSportGPS for fitness performance tracking. In addition, the Strive has a MP3 player, a video player and a 2.0-megapixel camera with video recording abilities. It can store up to 1,000 contacts on its phone book and you can back up the contact information to AT&T’s Address Book. Users get 90MB of internal memory, but they can expand the storage with a microSD card up to 16GB. Other features on the Strive include Bluetooth, AGPS, USB mass storage, HTML web browsing and speakerphone.
