LG Bliss UX700 – Puts the Full Spectrum of Entertainment at Your Fingertips

Released for U.S. Cellular, the LG Bliss UX700 is a slim and stylish candy-bar handset integrated with a responsive 3-inch touchscreen for smooth navigation. Not only does it has an attractive look that will catch everyone’s attention, it also offers a decent set of multimedia features and home screen customization options.

The main highlight of the Bliss is its large 262K-color 240x400-pixel touchscreen display, which gives you tactile feedback in response to a touch by your fingertip or stylus. With measurements of 4.23" high by 2.28" wide by 0.47" deep and a weight of 3.42 ounces, it is one of the most lightweight and compact touch-based phones. It comes in two chic color options: white with gold trim and black with green trim.

Using a next generation user interface, the Bliss gives you four home screen menus for customization. You can add, rearrange and remove shortcut icons, change wallpaper and do more to make it match your style. Like most of other touchscreen devices, the Bliss is equipped with a proximity sensor, which turns off the screen when you are on a call, and an accelerometer, which rotates the display when you tilt the phone. The latter also calls up a full onscreen QWERTY keyboard for messaging when you hold the phone horizontally.

For entertainment, the Bliss comes with a built-in 2.0-megapixel camera that helps you capture both images and videos. You get a 2.5mm headset jack and a music player for MP3, WMA, AAC and AAC+ file playback. With support for background music mode, it lets you continue to enjoy music while taking a picture, shooting a video or doing other tasks. You can save all your media files on the 71MB onboard memory and an additional microSD card up to 16GB.

In addition, the Bliss has a full HTML browser with support for multiple windows. You get text and multimedia messaging along with access to Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and other POP or IMAP email accounts. Other key features include stereo Bluetooth, GPS, voice commands, USB mass storage, one-touch speakerphone and a 1,000-entry phone book.

With all these entertainment features loaded onto a pocket-sized body, the LG Bliss will surely impress those looking for a good mid-range touchscreen phone at an average price.
