Size
Although both smartphones feature a traditional sliding form factor, the Kin Two is larger and heftier by measuring 4.38" high by 2.36" wide by 0.64" deep and weighing 4.7 ounces.
Screen & Keyboard
The Kin Two sports a 3.4-inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen with a 320x420-pixel resolution, which is much larger than the 2.6-inch screen of the other Kin. It slides sideways to reveal an ample QWERTY keyboard for two-handed texting, whereas the Kin One has a compact vertical-sliding keyboard for one-handed use. Also, the Kin Two has a built-in accelerometer for auto-rotation of screen orientation.

The Loop, the Spot & the Studio
Taking the advantage of these three features, both Kin phones give you a unique social networking experience. The Loop user interface collects updates from social networks (Facebook, MySpace and Twitter) and your favorite websites to the home screen; the Spot lets you quickly share messages, web pages, maps, feeds, photos and videos with multiple contacts; and the Studio backs up everything you create to a secure website.
Web Browsing
Like the Kin One, the Kin Two comes with a full HTML browser with pinch-to-zoom gesture support. It also integrates Bing local and Web search through a dedicated button. Web browsing is fast using either Verizon’s 3G network and Wi-Fi.
Music & Media
Both Kin phones have a Zune media player for music and video playback. With Zune Pass, you can wirelessly stream and download music. But unlike the Kin One which has a mono speaker, the Kin Two is outfitted with stereo speakers for even better audio quality.

Email & Messaging
E-mail support on the Kin One and Two includes POP3/IMAP accounts (up to 10 accounts) as well as Push Exchange Mail. However, they both lack IM clients.
Camera
Compared with the 5.0-megapixel camera on its sibling, the Kin Two has an 8.0-megapixel camera with anti-shake, auto-focus and Lumi LED flash, which allows you to take amazing pictures and videos.

To conclude, both Kin smartphones are ideal for teens and tweens who are keen on staying socially connected and keeping up with their best friends. But if you prefer more impressive features and don’t mind a higher price, the Kin Two would be a better choice to go for.
